Tired

In an economy like now, I'm very surprised to find myself overwhelmed with client work. Projects keep coming, I keep saying yes and happily add jobs to my forecast. Then I have to do the work. Well, I'm exhausted. I've been working just about every hour I can put aside the responsibility of motherhood... "Let's put in a DVD. Mommy's going to run upstairs and work for a few miniutes, OK?" This includes after Tate's in bed and on weekends too. The house is a mess, dinner's been pretty uninspired lately and the dirty laundry is piling up.

I need a housewife. I'm taking applications until 5pm next Friday. Interested?

Ha ha... I don't even have a kid and I can feel your pain! Can I have a housewife too? Our bathroom gets cleaned once every 2 months about. And, dinner? Indian delivery... One great thing about living in the city!

The Indian place around here closed. We are left with pizza, chinese and mexican. One bad thing about living in the burbs! If I find a housewife for me, I'll see if he/she can commute to NYC for you too!!

I had a friend who used to have a business which did exactly what you're looking for - it was named GetAWife, though I'm not sure she's still in business. In lieu of that.... do you have a wash/dry/fold nearby... or, maybe outsource to http://mylaundryhamper.com?

For quick and easy meals, sometimes I use this resource for ideas: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/18/dining/18mini.html

This is a stretch of course, but Merry Maids http://www.merrymaids.com does a good job at the condo, once a month... just a few ideas!
